Amp sounds great and is a phenomenal value. You can get some beautiful clean tones and with spring reverb it sounds great. Turing the volume to 10 will put you fully into Tweed sag territory depending on the guitar you use. Phenomenal sounds out of this amp.
Something to note - this was purchased off of School Music’s S+ market but I’d say the fit and finish is more of a B+. There are sports where the tolex is separated or peeling. In addition, some of the dress nuts are plastic (send/return) and the holes were poorly drilled out and damaged the back of the particle board they used.
Last note - the amp shipped with microphonic pre amp tubes. In addition, the tubes are placed horizontally so that are a pain to replace.
Overall the amp is great sounding which is what matters most, but I think some attention to detail on the finish would go a long way in these amps being more widely used.
