도어즈는 60년대의 미국의 반체제 문화와 밀접하게 연관되어 있는 밴드입니다. 
올더스 헉슬리의 논문 ‘인식의 문(The Doors of Perception)’에서 밴드 이름을 따 온 도어즈는 보컬이자 리더 짐 모리슨의 어두운 시적 표현으로 엄청난 상업적 성공을 거두며 전설적인 밴드의 반열에 오르게 됩니다.
